Delete your PurjiLagao account

This page explains how patients, doctors, clinics, and clinic staff can request account deletion and what data may be deleted or retained.

Patient App Deletion

Patients can delete their account directly from the PurjiLagao mobile app.

  • Open the PurjiLagao patient app.
  • Go to Profile.
  • Select Delete Account.
  • Read the warning, confirm the acknowledgement, type DELETE, and submit.

Support Deletion Request

If you cannot access the app, or if you use the doctor app, clinic staff access, phone support, or the website, contact PurjiLagao support to request deletion.

  • Email support@purjilagao.com or call 9546333144.
  • Include the phone number or email linked to the account.
  • We may ask for reasonable verification before deleting, anonymizing, or restricting the account.

What We Delete or Anonymize

After a verified patient account deletion, we remove login access and delete or anonymize personal account information linked to the account.

  • Phone number, email, name, date of birth, and profile details where applicable.
  • Login identifiers, linked Google sign-in identity, refresh tokens, and trusted-device records where applicable.
  • Notification device tokens, in-app notifications, notification preferences, saved favorites, wallet records, and referral records where applicable.
  • Location fields such as selected city, village, state, and pincode where they are stored on the deleted patient profile.

What We May Retain

Some records may be retained after deletion when needed for clinic operations, tax or accounting obligations, fraud prevention, dispute handling, legal compliance, security, or platform safety.

  • Appointment, billing, wallet, referral, settlement, payment-status, and clinic operation records may be retained for up to 7 years where required or reasonably needed.
  • Support requests, admin notes, audit logs, and fraud-prevention records may be retained for up to 24 months unless a longer period is required for a dispute, investigation, security, or legal reason.
  • Doctor verification documents and clinic onboarding records may be retained for up to 7 years after deactivation, rejection, suspension, or closure where needed for compliance, dispute handling, fraud prevention, and platform safety.
  • Backups may temporarily contain deleted or changed data until backup rotation removes them.

Deletion Time

We aim to complete ordinary deletion requests within 30 days after identity verification. Complex requests, legal holds, disputes, fraud checks, or backup rotation may require additional time.

Other Privacy Requests

You may also contact us to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or a copy of eligible personal information where applicable law gives you those rights.

We do not sell personal information. If a law in your location gives you a right to opt out of sale or sharing of personal information, contact us using the details below.
